LOUISVILLE ASSOCIATION OF PARALEGALS
The LAP's Education Committee will hold a CLE program at the Jefferson County Public Law Library. The topic will be "Ethics in the Criminal Justice Process" presented by Commonwealth's Attorney Thomas B. Wine. The CLE will be an overview of ethical issues that arise in criminal law from arrest to post-conviction or acquittal. While this topic will being presented from a prosecution standpoint, the CLE will also include discussion of ethical issues paralegals working in criminal defense firms and other areas of the law may encounter.
Thomas B. Wine was elected as the Commonwealth's Attorney for the 30th Judicial Circuit in November 2012. His six-year term of office began on January 1, 2013. Mr. Wine's complete bio can be found at: http://www.louisvilleprosecutor.com/administration/.
You are welcome to bring your lunch or box lunches (including drink) are available to order at registration for $12.00.
